Sarah Everhart
Sarah has spent her career helping others feel confident and beautiful. A professional ballet dancer and respected instructor, she taught for more than twenty years throughout the Pittsburgh region. During her teaching career, she developed a reputation for patience, compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to help individuals reach their fullest potential.
Sarah’s life was suddenly upended when an annual physical revealed an aggressive form of leukemia. What started out as a routine physical, ended up in a trip to the ER followed by ten straight weeks at Shadyside hospital. The following two years were filled with intensive treatments, long hospital stays, and ultimately, a stem cell transplant. Teaching ballet during this time was impossible. Sarah returned to teaching a year after her transplant, but lingering side effects made it difficult to return to her previous teaching load. This is when she decided to make a change. If her body could get a reboot, why couldn’t her career?
Skincare was always an important part of Sarah’s life, but when she was sick it became an essential part of her cancer journey. It became a way to make her feel better in so many ways. It was self care when everything else was out of her control. When her skin felt better, she felt a little bit more like herself even though she had lost her hair and was feeling terrible. It helped her feel more confident and positive, making it a little easier to fight her battle with cancer.
Motivated by her own experience, Sarah earned her Pennsylvania esthetician license and completed advanced oncology esthetics training through Oncology Spa Solutions, one of only a few schools accredited by the Society for Oncology Esthetics.
Blue Aloe Skin Health reflects both Sarah’s professional expertise and her personal journey. Every treatment is delivered with empathy, clinical knowledge, and a deep understanding that healthy skin is about far more than appearance - it is about restoring comfort, confidence, dignity, and hope.
